Marielle Morales
A "diverse" dancer, Marielle has practiced multiple dance styles since childhood, including classical, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, flamenco, and butoh.
Based in Brussels since 2003, she worked with choreographer Pierre Droulers as a dancer and later as his assistant, collaborating for six years. She also danced for Stefan Dreher, Fré Werbrouk, and Lise Vachon.
Since 2011, she has been a performer with Michèle Noiret and later became her assistant for the duo Palimpseste.
Marielle is now a certified practitioner of the Feldenkrais Method, centered on somatic education.
Her work emphasizes bringing dance to life through the physical and physiological sensations it evokes, often using tools derived from somatic techniques such as the Feldenkrais Method, Body-Mind Centering, or Skinner Releasing.
Her focus is on cultivating awareness of the body in motion. She guides explorations that invite students to perceive and utilize their internal spaces for movement and action. This process generates alternative movement pathways, fosters new movement qualities, and helps students discover the origin of their dance's authenticity.
